Lviv club "Barkom-Kazhany" is preparing for the new season with new recruit Andrii Shvets
Midseason always brings a lot of changes in team composition, and this time was no exception for the Lviv club "Barkom-Kazhany". The club, which will soon begin preparations for its third season in the Polish Plus League, has announced significant changes in its lineup.
From last year's team, only 7 players remained: Vasyl Tupchiy, Ilya Kovalev, Vladyslav Shchurov, Denis Petrovs, Oleg Shevchenko, Yaroslav Pampushko and Timur Tsmokalo. Fans will no longer see such players as Luciano Palonsky, Moise Guillet, Oleksiy Goloven, Vitaly Kucher, Ilya Dovgiy, Bohdan Mazenko, Dmytro Kanaev and Kristers Darzanc in Lviv uniforms.
A new name among Lviv residents
The 19-year-old Ukrainian central blocker Andrii Shvets became the first rookie who signed a contract with "Barkom-Kazhany". Born in Vinnytsia, Shvets started his career in the club "Heart of Podillia". The height of the talented player reaches 206 cm, which makes him a real giant on the field.
"I am very happy to join such an ambitious club as Barkom-Bats. This is a big step in my career, and I am ready to make every effort to help the team reach new heights," Andrii Shvets said.
The way to success
In 2021, Shvets went to Poland, where he joined the youth team "AZS Czestochowa". With this team, he twice became the national champion in the U-17 and U-19 age categories. Such experience will undoubtedly be useful to the young player in his new team.
Contract until 2027
Andriy Shvets signed a contract with "Barkom-Kazhana" until 2027. He will play in the Lviv club under the number 29. This is a long-term agreement that shows the seriousness of the intentions of both the club and the player himself.
Preparation for the season
The "Barkom-Kazhany" club is actively preparing for the new season, and new additions to the team, such as Andrii Shvets, add optimism. The team has ambitious plans and aims to improve its results in the Plus League.
"We are happy to welcome Andrii to our team. He is young, talented and has great potential. We believe that with his help we will be able to reach new heights," said the head coach of the team.
Expectation of fans
Barkom-Bats fans are looking forward to the start of the new season, hoping for bright performances from their team. The appearance of a young and promising player like Andrii Shvets adds intrigue and raises expectations.
Conclusions and hopes for the future
The new season promises to be intense and interesting, and changes in the composition of the "Barkom-Bats" team may become the key to success. It remains only to wait for the start of the games, where we will see how the new players will fit into the team and what results they will be able to demonstrate.
