Chernivtsi "Bukovyna" made a loud statement on the transfer market, signing two promising footballers who previously played for "Chornomorets" Odesa. Bohdan Boychuk and Danilo Golub became new team players.

Bohdan Boychuk: Experienced striker

28-year-old Bohdan Boychuk, who last season played for the UPL club Chornomorets, signed a contract with Bukovyna for one year with the possibility of extension for another year. Bohdan started his career at the Donetsk "Olympic", and later continued his studies at the Kharkiv "Metalista" academy.

"I am very happy to join Bukovyna. I believe that I will be able to help the team reach new heights," Bohdan Boychuk said after signing the contract.

In the 2012/2013 season, Bohdan became the top scorer of the Metalist youth team, scoring 12 goals in 22 matches. The Kharkiv native made his debut for the main team in the 2014/15 season. Subsequently, he played for the Moldovan clubs "Zarya" (Bielce) and "Dynamo-Avto", and was also one of the leaders of the Lviv "Rukh".

Danylo Golub: Young talent

20-year-old Danylo Golub also joined Bukovyna, signing a three-year contract with the possibility of an extension for another year. Danylo is a pupil of the Donetsk football school, and from 2016 to 2020 he played for the youth teams of Shakhtar and FC Mariupol.

"This is a big step for me. I am ready to work hard to justify the trust of the club," Danylo Golub shared.

In the 2020/21 season, the young player played for the youth and youth teams of Kolos and Ingulets, and later became a player of Mynai. In his first match for the adult team, he scored a goal against "Alexandria".

Plans and perspectives

The signing of Boychuk and Golub shows the ambitions of "Bukovyna" for the upcoming season. The team is looking to strengthen its attack and reach new heights in the Premier League. Both players have experience of performing at a high level, which can be a decisive factor for the success of the Chernivtsi club.

"We are very happy to welcome Bohdan and Danylo to our team. They have everything necessary to help Bukovyna reach new heights," the head coach of the club noted.

It remains to be seen how the newcomers will fit into the team and whether they will be able to live up to the expectations of the fans and the club management. One thing is clear: with such reinforcements, "Bukovyna" has every chance of a successful season.
