Ghanaian striker "Kryvbasa" Prince Adu shared his dreams and impressions of Ukrainian football in an interview with the club's press service.
The dream of being called up to the Ghana national team
"Of course! I think it's every player's goal and dream to get into the national team. However, regardless of whether it happens in the near future or not, I'm still confidently following my football path with Kryvbas. As for the Ghana national team, there many of my friends are playing, with whom we played back in the U-20s."
Prince Adu dreams of being called up to the Ghana national team, where he could play alongside many of his friends from the junior team. However, he remains committed to his current club Kryvbas and continues to work on his career.
Impressions from the championship of Ukraine
"The level is very good. If you compare it with other countries, then for me Ukrainian football is similar to Italian football. Every young player who aspires to achieve high results in football and in his professional career, in general, should get here. I am very glad, that I'm here."
Adu compares the level of the Ukrainian championship with the Italian one, emphasizing its high level and potential for young players. He is glad that he has the opportunity to play in Ukraine.
Friendly relations in the team
"Everyone here is very friendly and cool, each of the players communicates and respects each other, I feel a very warm attitude. That's why I can't single out one player, because we are one big red and white family."
Prince notes the warm atmosphere in the Kryvbas team, where all players support each other and create a real family.
The funnest in the team
"I think that the funniest person in the team is me, and the person who understands all my jokes is Rafa. And if you choose among Ukrainian players, our captain Khomchenovsky has the coolest jokes. Sometimes I may not even understand that he's the one who says it, but I laugh anyway."
Adu considers himself the funniest player on the team, but also credits Rafa and captain Dmytro Khomchenovsky, whose jokes are always uplifting.
The name Prince and its meaning
"My Homeland is ruled by a king, so when I was born, my parents named me Prince as the successor to the king's throne. I like my name so much that I can't even imagine myself with any other name."
Prince Adu said that his name has a special meaning because his home country is ruled by a king. He is proud of his name and cannot imagine himself with another.
