Vinicius Tobias returns to Shakhtar
After two years on loan at Real Madrid, where he played for the youth team, right back Vinicius Tobias returns to Shakhtar. The return of the young Brazilian was an important event for the Ukrainian club.
"Happy to be back at Shakhtar now. Two years of experience at Real Madrid, but actually very happy to be back and will try to bring the best result to the team," said Tobias.
Selection in favor of "Shakhtar"
Tobias emphasized that the most important thing for him is to play. "Shakhtar gives me the opportunity to play, and I can learn a lot of different and interesting things here," the defender said. An important factor in making the decision was the desire to get game practice and develop as a professional.
Personal development and new opportunities
Tobias also noted that he has grown a lot as a player in two and a half years. "Of course, when I arrived two years ago, I was a different person. During that period, I managed to learn a lot at Shakhtar. The master gave me a lot then, and I continue to learn now. The period at "Real" was also important to grow and return to Shakhtar as a more professional," he said.
Follow-up of "Shakhtar" during the lease
Despite the fact that Tobias was in "Real", he tried to follow the games of "Shakhtar". "It was a bit difficult to watch the matches, but I was constantly in touch with my friends at Shakhtar to tell me about the course of events in the team," the player shared.
Relations with the team
Tobias kept in touch with many Shakhtar players, especially those he met when he first arrived. "Of course, it was easier to communicate with Brazilians because of our common origin. In any case, I was very happy to be in contact, because all the guys are great. There are plenty of Brazilians and Ukrainians here, this is an international team where you can learn a lot," he said he.
Role in current team
Tobias is confident that he can help the team in various aspects, especially in attack. "I can help in each case with different methods, more in attack. But Shakhtar has a lot of high-quality performers who are able to help, just like me, so it is important to be a team and show yourself every time with a view to team play," he emphasized he.
The impact of the war on the decision to return
When the full-scale war broke out, Tobias, along with other Brazilians and Ukrainians, was in Ukraine. "When I arrived at Shakhtar, it was quite a difficult moment. My birthday was approaching, and all these events just started. I see that the situation has changed to some extent over the course of two years. The most important thing is that we are able to play football quite calmly." , - he remembered.
Goals for the future
Tobias has big ambitions for the new season. "The main thing is that we have a good season, reaching new heights together. Personally, I want to develop as a professional and achieve personal indicators, but above all - a team result. The most important thing is to have fun together with the whole team," he concluded.
