Reign On, Newgarden! ๐Ÿ

Just when we thought Josef Newgarden couldn't get any cooler after clinching his first Indy 500 last year, the speed demon topped the charts again on the first day of testing for the 108th race. The gods of weather played spoilsport with a rain delay, but that didn't stop our main man from clocking a scorching 228.811 mph lap. Is this deja vu or what?

Kyle Larson's in the Mix

Watch out folks, Kyle Larson is hot on Newgarden's heels, proving NASCAR champs can tear up the Indy track too. With a swift 226.384 mph, he's definitely in the running (and it's only his rookie practice sessions!). Could he be the next double-duty legend?

The Chase Pack

It's not just a two-horse race though. Scott Dixon, the six-time champ, isn't far behind, with Alex Palou and Colton Herta all gunning for glory. Stay tuned for more rubber-burning action as testing resumes. Think Newgarden can keep the lead? Hit us with your thoughts below.
