Daniella Hemsley is gearing up for a return to the boxing ring, putting her viral moment in the rearview mirror and focusing on her athletic goals. The OnlyFans star, who became an internet sensation after her victory over Aleksandra Daniel and subsequent controversial moment on live TV, is determined to make a comeback.
Daniella Hemsley’s Boxing Ambition
Despite the incident, which Hemsley later claimed was orchestrated by the event promoters, she remains undeterred. Her dedication to boxing is unwavering, and she continues to train rigorously. Her boyfriend, MMA fighter Akonne Wanliss, provides insight into her journey.
“She’s still training and she’s still got her eyes on the whole women’s division,” says Wanliss. “She’s been improving her skills every week, she loves boxing and she still does it in her spare time, still goes gym every day.”
Eyes on the Competition
Hemsley’s focus is on key opponents in her weight category, including Alaena Vampira and Jully Pocca. The couple recently watched the fight between Paige VanZant and Elle Brooke, which Wanliss described as a significant moment for influencer boxing.
“The Paige VanZant fight and Elle Brooke, we watched it and it was cool, man. It was cool to see the progression of Elle Brooke,” he remarks. “She even landed a shot and knocked down Paige VanZant, I was like, ‘Wow, this is kinda crazy.’”
Future Prospects and Training Regimen
Wanliss, who boasts an 8-2 record in MMA, is set to compete at Oktagon 58 in Prague against Mateusz Legierski. Hemsley will be by his side, supporting him while continuing her own training. Wanliss emphasizes the importance of the right opportunities for Hemsley's return.
“Why not? If something lines up for her nicely and the pay’s right and the opponent’s right, their influencer boxers so it has to make sense for them like that,” he explains. “Misfits, they’re trying to build something where there’s titles now and women’s divisions. It’s turning into more of a pro vibe.”
Conclusion
At just 24 years old, Hemsley has the potential to make a significant impact in the boxing world. With her commitment and the right matchups, she could very well become a prominent figure in women’s boxing. As she continues to hone her skills and seek the right opportunities, the boxing community will undoubtedly be watching her next moves closely.
