Cherkasy National Football League is changing its coach: the Spaniard Andres Carrasco will replace Oleg Dulub

Cherkasy football club LNZ, which plays in the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL), announced a change of head coach after the end of the season. Instead of Belarusian coach Oleg Dulub, the team will be led by Spanish specialist Andres Carrasco.

"Oleg Anatoliyovych Dulub can calmly look into the eyes of Cherkasy fans. He did a great job at LNZ," the sports analyst notes.

Successes and challenges of Oleg Dulub

Dulub came to Cherkasy as a crisis manager when Oleksandr Kovpak was fired. The team under his leadership not only avoided the fight for survival, but also managed to secure a position in the middle of the UPL table. Seventh place for a league newcomer is a big achievement, given that LNZ made it to the elite through head-to-head matches.

Why is Oleg Dulub leaving LNZ?

Despite the successes, the club management decided not to extend the contract with Dulub. The reasons for this decision remain not fully understood, but it is clear that the team needs new approaches and fresh ideas. Dulub has laid a solid foundation, but changes are needed for the further development of the club.

Who is Andres Carrasco?

Andres Carrasco is a Spanish coach who previously worked in the youth teams of clubs such as Barcelona and Shakhtar. Most recently, he headed Tbilisi Dynamo, where he bet on youth and achieved some success. But will he be able to adapt to the realities of Ukrainian football?

"Carrasco was perceived as a coach from the Barcelona system who promotes Catalan principles of talent development. But Ukraine has its own realities. Oranges don't grow here," the expert notes.

Risks and prospects

Inviting Carrasco is definitely a risky move. The Spanish coach has minimal experience with professional teams and specializes more in youth development. Will he be able to adapt to UPL conditions and succeed with LNZ? This question remains open.

Conclusions

LNZ Cherkasy makes a bold bet on the Spanish coach, hoping for a new stage in the club's development. However, taking into account all the risks, we can expect that if there is no result in the fall, Carrasco will not stay in Cherkasy for long.
