Joshua: Fury will not be able to beat Usyk in the rematch
The former two-time heavyweight world champion, Anthony Joshua, expressed his opinion on the upcoming rematch between Tyson Fury and Olexander Usyk, which is scheduled for December 21 this year. The Briton is convinced that his compatriot will not be able to defeat the Ukrainian champion.
"I don't think he underestimated Usyk, but he said that the Ukrainian is a middleweight, so-and-so. It just showed everyone that you should never play around, humiliate someone. You have to give credit if it's deserved. Otherwise, you can go out there , thinking that you beat someone, and the next minute in the fight, can Fury beat him? No way," said Joshua.
Usyk vs. Fury: expectations and predictions
Joshua, who himself has repeatedly faced challenges in the ring, believes that Tyson Fury needs to learn from past mistakes. He emphasized the importance of respect for the opponent and noted that Usyk deserves recognition for his achievements.
"I think Fury is a good fighter and you've seen some good moments. I just don't think he's capable of it. It's not that I don't appreciate Tyson. He's good, he's put himself in this position. I just I don't think he's better than Usyk," Joshua concluded.
Joshua prepares for the fight with Daniel Dubois
It is worth noting that Anthony Joshua himself is preparing for his next fight. On September 21, he will meet his compatriot, Daniel DuBois, who will have the International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt at stake. This belt previously belonged to Oleksandr Usyk, but was vacated due to a decision by the IBF.
This match will be an important stage in the career of Joshua, who intends to regain the championship title. DuBois, in turn, is eager to prove his strength and abilities on the big stage.
Conclusions and perspectives
The rematch between Usyk and Fury promises to be one of the most anticipated events in the world of boxing. A lot depends on the outcome of this fight, including the future of super heavyweight. As an experienced fighter, Joshua has his own predictions, but only time will tell the final outcome.
For now, boxing fans can only guess who will emerge victorious in this epic showdown. One thing is certain: both boxers will be ready to fight at the highest level.
