China's volleyball team showcased their dominance in the final preliminary match of the 2024 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) by defeating Poland in straight sets. The Chinese squad, known for their tactical prowess, clinched the victory with scores of 25-23, 25-15, and 25-19.

Tactical Brilliance and Powerful Attacks

China's performance was a masterclass in volleyball strategy. Their ability to excel in attacks, blocks, and serves was evident throughout the match. Xinyue Yuan led the charge with an impressive 16 points, supported by Yingying Li (14 points), Mengjie Wu (11 points), and Yuanyuan Wang (10 points). This quartet proved too formidable for the Polish defense.

Despite the defeat, Poland finished the pool phase with a commendable record of 10 wins and 2 losses, securing third place in the standings. Martyna Łukasik was the top scorer for Poland with 9 points, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide against a relentless Chinese team.

"We knew China would be a tough opponent, but our focus is now on the quarterfinals," said Poland's head coach.
