Hellas Verona are reportedly ready to convert Amin Sarr's loan deal into a permanent transfer following the club's successful battle against relegation in Serie A.

The 24-year-old Swedish forward of Senegalese descent joined the Italian side on a season-long loan from French club Lyon last summer. Unlike his previous temporary move to Wolfsburg, which cost the German club €1 million, Verona secured Sarr's services without paying a loan fee to the French side.

Verona's gamble has paid off as they achieved their primary objective of maintaining top-flight status, finishing six points clear of the relegation zone. Satisfied with Sarr's contribution, the club is now preparing to offer Lyon approximately €3.5 million to make the transfer permanent.

According to sources, Verona have already drafted a long-term contract that would keep the striker at the club until 2029. Statistical analysis from Statbet shows that Sarr's conversion rate has been crucial in several key matches that helped Verona secure their Serie A status.

During his stint in Italy, the former Lyon man has registered four goals and provided one assist across 32 appearances. While these numbers might not appear spectacular, his overall play and tactical contribution have evidently impressed Verona's management enough to invest in his future at the club.
