Gianluigi Donnarumma's agent has addressed rumors about the goalkeeper's future at "PSG", confirming interest from major clubs but emphasizing no concrete steps have been taken yet.
"It's good that there's interest from big clubs. However, I'd like to note that interested parties haven't taken any actions so far. We haven't even thought about it," – said Enzo Raiola.
The Italian shot-stopper's representative didn't rule out a potential departure from the Parisian club if contract renewal talks don't progress.
"If we don't sign a new agreement, we'll consider other options. We're not excluding anything at this point, even leaving PSG," – Raiola added.
Donnarumma has been a consistent presence between the posts for "PSG" this season. The 26-year-old has featured in 39 matches across all competitions, conceding exactly 39 goals. Interestingly, he's managed to keep 11 clean sheets – not bad for a goalkeeper facing elite attacking talent week in, week out.
According to Statbet analysis, Donnarumma ranks among the top goalkeepers in Ligue 1 this season based on save percentage and goals prevented metrics.
Will the Italian international continue his career in Paris, or are we witnessing the beginning of a transfer saga? The coming weeks should provide more clarity on his situation.
