Kylian Mbappé has been named the best player of the 2024/25 season for "Real Madrid" in his first campaign with the Spanish giants. The club's press service announced the recognition of the 26-year-old Frenchman who joined Madrid after departing from "PSG" last summer.

"For me, this is a pleasure and a significant moment. I want to thank all 'Real' fans and people who voted for me. My first season in Spain has been a new experience for me both as a player and as a person," – Mbappé stated upon receiving the award.

The numbers speak for themselves. Mbappé featured in 56 matches across all competitions, finding the back of the net 43 times while providing five assists. His impact in "La Liga" was particularly notable, as he claimed the top scorer award with an impressive tally of 31 goals.

Interestingly, the adaptation process wasn't entirely smooth sailing for the French star. "When I arrived, I had to adapt to the team, country, new language, and culture," he admitted. "Now I feel great, and it shows on the field. I'm very happy at 'Real.'"

According to Statbet analysis, Mbappé's goal-scoring rate this season has been among the most efficient in Europe's top five leagues, with a conversion rate that surpasses many of his contemporaries.

Looking ahead, the Frenchman expressed excitement about the upcoming Club World Cup. "This will be my first time playing in such a tournament, and we're really looking forward to it. It's a chance to become world champions with the club. It will be a major tournament in the USA. Everyone will be watching, and we'll try to win."

Prior to this recognition, Mbappé had already been named the best transfer of the season in Europe according to Goal. Will this be the first of many individual accolades for him at the Santiago Bernabéu?
