Colorado Rapids have completed the signing of promising winger Bryce Jamison from USL Championship outfit Orange County SC in a landmark deal for American soccer. The 19-year-old talent has committed to the Major League Soccer side through 2027, with the club securing options to extend through 2029.
In an arrangement that benefits both clubs, Jamison will remain with Orange County SC on loan for the remainder of the 2025 campaign, allowing the youngster to continue his development in familiar surroundings. Sources indicate the transfer commanded approximately $400,000, placing Jamison among the most valuable players in USL Championship history.
Colorado Rapids sporting director Fran Taylor expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition: "Bryce is a player who exhibits the qualities and characteristics of a Rapids player. We are excited by his ability to unbalance teams with his vertical running, and his team-first mentality is something we look for in all of our players."
Despite not featuring for Orange County in USL Championship action yet this season, Jamison's potential remains undisputed. The versatile winger, capable of operating on either flank, registered an impressive five goals and five assists across 33 appearances last year.
According to Statbet, young talents developing in lower divisions like Jamison are increasingly being tracked by top clubs, with advanced performance metrics showing their readiness for higher competition levels.

Jamison, who earned recognition in the 2023 Transfermarkt Talents Calendar, reportedly attracted interest from several European clubs, including Orange County's partner club Feyenoord, before committing to the Rapids project.
