Racing Club
De Paul made his professional debut for Racing Club on 10 February 2013, entering as a substitute in a match against Atlético de Rafaela. Not long after, he scored his first professional goal in March 2013 during a game against San Martín de San Juan. His performance during the 2013–14 season was notable, as he played in 35 matches and scored four goals.
Valencia
In May 2014, Rodrigo De Paul transferred to Valencia CF for a reported fee of $6.5 million.
