Club Career

Early Career

Firmino made his first team debut for Figueirense on 24 October 2009 against Ponte Preta and scored his first goal on 8 May 2010 against São Caetano. His performance was crucial in Figueirense's promotion back to Série A.

TSG Hoffenheim

Firmino joined TSG Hoffenheim in December 2010, officially transferring on 1 January 2011. During his time there, he developed significantly, especially during the 2013–14 Bundesliga season, where he scored 16 goals, earning the league's Breakthrough Player award. A proposed transfer to Lokomotiv Moscow in 2013, worth €12 million, was unsuccessful, and he extended his contract with Hoffenheim in March 2014.

Liverpool
