Club Career

Nabil Fekir's professional career started with Olympique Lyonnais in 2013. He debuted in a Champions League play-off match against Real Sociedad on 28 August 2013. Fekir's breakthrough season came in 2014–15 when he scored 13 goals and provided 9 assists, earning the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year award. An unfortunate knee injury curtailed much of his 2015–16 season, but he bounced back, becoming Lyon's captain in 2017. In the 2017–18 season, alongside Memphis Depay and Mariano, he contributed notably, scoring 18 league goals.

In 2019, Fekir transferred to Real Betis for an initial €19.75 million. He adapted quickly to La Liga, scoring his first goal against Barcelona.
