Borussia Dortmund

Götze made his Bundesliga debut on November 21, 2009, as a substitute and shortly after became an integral part of Dortmund's squad. Under Jürgen Klopp, he contributed to Dortmund's Bundesliga title in the 2010-11 season and played a key role in their historic double in 2011-12. His partnership with Marco Reus was particularly notable, and they reached the 2013 Champions League final, where Götze was injured in preparation.

Bayern Munich
