Club Career

Valencia

Upon returning to Valencia, Alba made his La Liga debut on September 13, 2009, in a 4–2 victory against Real Valladolid. Injuries in the Valencia defense prompted his transition to the left-back position, where he delivered consistent performances. Alba netted his first goal for Valencia on April 11, 2010, in an away match against Mallorca.
