Chair's professional career commenced with Lierse, where he made his debut in the Belgian Second Division at the age of 17. On 9 August 2015, he appeared as a substitute in a 1–1 draw against Coxyde. A month later, Chair experienced his first starting match, demonstrating his potential despite a 3–2 defeat to Cercle Brugge. In January 2017, Chair's career took a pivotal turn when he joined Queens Park Rangers (QPR) following a successful trial.
