Barcelona

Fati signed his first professional contract with Barcelona on 24 July 2019, committing to the club until 2022. His debut for the Barcelona first team came shortly after, on 25 August 2019, in a La Liga match against Real Betis. At just 16 years and 298 days old, he became the second-youngest player to appear for the club. Fati's breakthrough season was filled with record-breaking performances: he became Barcelona's youngest goalscorer on 31 August 2019, and set several records as the youngest player to achieve various feats in both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
