Club Career

Dnipro

After graduating from youth sportive school, Lunin began his professional career at Dnipro. He debuted for the main squad at the age of 17 on 16 October 2016 against Karpaty Lviv in the Ukrainian Premier League. That season, he became the first-choice goalkeeper and played a total of 25 matches. Despite his impressive performances, financial difficulties led to the club's relegation and Lunin's subsequent departure.

Zorya Luhansk

Lunin joined Zorya Luhansk for the 2017–18 season, where he quickly established himself as the primary goalkeeper. His European debut came on 14 September 2017 in a Europa League match against Östersunds. Over the season, Lunin played 36 matches across all competitions, contributing significantly to the team.

Real Madrid

In June 2018, Lunin signed with Real Madrid for a reported fee of €8.5 million plus add-ons. Initially loaned to Leganés for the 2018–19 season, he then had stints at Real Valladolid and Real Oviedo in subsequent years. His Real Madrid debut came on 20 January 2021 in the Copa del Rey.
