Club Career
Alex Telles began his professional career with Juventude, where he debuted on January 24, 2011, in a match against São José-PA. He scored his first professional goal on August 20, 2011, in a 1–1 draw with Cruzeiro. In 2013, he transferred to Grêmio, where he quickly rose to prominence, making his debut on February 3 against Internacional. That year, he was recognized as the best left-back in the Brazilian Série A.
