Eclipse Fever Hits Buffalo with Saucy 'Totality Wings' Delight

Buffalo, New York, is not just dunking its wings in any old sauce - they're going solar! In commemoration of the first total eclipse over the area since 1925, the city's gastronomy gurus are serving up a stellar batch of 'Totality Wings.' Concocted by Buffalo's culinary royalty, these wings are a cosmic twist on the classic, guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds.

Drew Cerza, known as the America’s Wing King and founder of the National Buffalo Wing Festival, is the mastermind behind this new honey-mustard sunshine flavor.

Partnering with Santora’s Pizza Pub & Grill, this Monday you can grab a bite of these wings that are literally out of this world. Their sauce? A radiant blend of honey and mustard representing the sun, with a barbecue sauce drizzle mimicking the darkened moon. Foodies and eclipse enthusiasts, unite!

Charitable Munching Under the Darkened Sun

Buffalo isn't just feasting for fun. These special eclipse wings are part of #SeeThe716Eclipse, an event to promote eye health and support Kelly for Kids Foundation, an initiative by Buffalo Bills legend Jim Kelly. It’s about community, giving back, and of course, exceptional wings.

"Jim Kelly eclipsed every known Buffalo Bills passing record," says Santora, third-generation owner of the famous Buffalo sports bar.

For those not able to make it, fear not - the wing recipe has been shared for all to enjoy. Just mix up mayo, honey, mustard, and a few zesty extras, toss your wings, and drizzle with that saucy solar eclipse magic. It's a tasty way to experience the eclipse no matter where you are!
