A Gift to a Father, Now a Collector's Gem

Interestingly, the 'Black Mamba' originally gifted this ring to his father, Joe Bryant. NBA's 2000 championship marked Kobe's first of his five titles, making this piece exceptionally valuable. The sold ring is an identical copy of Bryant's original ring - engraved with "BRYANT", a size 11½, weighing 59.6 grams, and has the same engravings. The ring's authenticity is backed by a letter from Kobe's parents. Initially sold in 2013 for $173,000, its value has since skyrocketed.

This isn't the overall sports record though—that's still held by Charlie Sheen, who snagged Babe Ruth's 1927 World Series Championship ring for an astonishing $2.09 million.
