The Bukovyna team, which fought for survival in the First League in the spring, became one of the most discussed in the football world in the winter. This happened thanks to the new title sponsor - the company "Demart", the founder of which is Volodymyr Dubinsky. He immediately announced the club's ambition to enter the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) at the first opportunity.

New stage for "Bukovyna"

Volodymyr Dubinskyi, the founder of SC "Prometheus", who also takes care of basketball and volleyball projects, talked about his plans for "Bukovyna". He admitted that at first he did not understand how a football club works at this level, but quickly immersed himself in the process.

"At the time of our first statement about going to the UPL, I'll be honest, I didn't understand at all - what it is, how it works," Dubinsky admitted.

Appointment of Valery Kriventsov

One of the key decisions was the appointment of Valery Kriventsov as head coach. Kryventsov, who previously worked for Zora, was selected from several candidates due to his experience and vision for the team's development.

"I want "Bukovyna" to move away from the football that it is now and come to its picture, its playing style," Dubynsky emphasized.

Infrastructure challenges and new opportunities

One of the main problems faced by Dubinsky was the lack of proper infrastructure in Chernivtsi. The stadium needs major repairs, and there are almost no training fields. However, the first steps have already been taken to improve the situation.

"The city now has 4 fields with a natural surface: two of them are in terrible condition, two are just soil," he noted.

Plans for the future

Dubinsky has ambitious plans for Bukovyna. He sees the team in the UPL in two years and hopes that in five years the club will be able to fight for places in the European Cups.

"After 5 years - yes, we are among the leaders in Ukrainian football. This is the goal and task - otherwise, why would we come?" - he concluded.

Conclusion

Thanks to a new sponsor and the ambitious plans of Volodymyr Dubinsky, "Bukovyna" has every chance to become one of the strongest teams in Ukraine. Valery Kriventsov's appointment and investments in infrastructure are key steps on this path. Fans in Chernivtsi can hope for a bright future for their club.
