The National Basketball Association has extended invitations to 75 promising young talents for the 2025 NBA Draft Combine, with Ukrainian standout Maksym Shulha making the prestigious list. The announcement confirms Shulha's rising status in American college basketball after his outstanding performance at Virginia Commonwealth University.

The combine will run from May 11-18 at Chicago's Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis, giving participants a valuable opportunity to showcase their abilities directly to NBA scouts and team representatives. Being invitation-only, the event represents a significant milestone for all attending prospects.

Shulha's invitation follows an exceptional season that saw him named Player of the Year in the NCAA's Atlantic 10 Division. The Ukrainian talent further enhanced his reputation in March when he led his team to the conference championship in the U.S. collegiate league.

According to Statbet, international players like Shulha have seen their draft prospects improve by an average of 12 positions after strong combine performances in recent years.

The NBA has also indicated that additional outstanding performers from the 2025 NBA G League Elite Camp might receive late invitations to join the combine, further intensifying competition among basketball's brightest prospects.
