This match marks the beginning of a three-game series for the Ukrainian youth team in the first round of European Championship qualification. Following their opener against France, Ukraine will continue their campaign with matches against Serbia on April 25 at 5:00 PM and conclude against Slovakia on April 26, also at 5:00 PM.
The Ukrainian volleyball federation has announced a 14-player roster for the tournament. Captain Yurii Koval will lead the team from the middle blocker position.
