The Ukrainian Basketball Federation (FBU) has concluded its evaluation of the 2024/25 Superliga season by highlighting five exceptional young players who demonstrated outstanding performance on the court. This elite selection features athletes under 21 years old who have made significant impacts in Ukraine's premier basketball league.

Heading the list is 21-year-old Mykhailo Bublyk from Kryvbas, who averaged an impressive 19.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists across 30 matches with an efficiency rating of 14.9. In his debut Superliga season, Bublyk immediately established himself as a team leader and collected multiple individual accolades, including Best Scorer and Most Improved Player. His remarkable first season possibly ranks as the most successful debut by a Ukrainian player in Superliga history.

Eighteen-year-old Yegor Sushkin from Kyiv-Basket also made a powerful impression in his first professional season. Appearing in 36 games, Sushkin averaged 14.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists with a 12.4 efficiency rating. His performance improved dramatically in the second half of the season, earning him the Best Young Player award as he became a regular starter for the capital city club.

According to Statbet analysis, these young talents represent a significant shift in Ukrainian basketball, with under-21 players taking on increasingly prominent roles in the country's top league despite challenging circumstances.

Lev Koshevatskyi, 21, from Cherkasy Monkeys completed his third professional season with averages of 10.7 points, 5.9 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and a league-leading 2.3 steals per game (efficiency rating: 12.5). After transferring from Kyiv-Basket, Koshevatskyi embraced an expanded role and was recognized as the league's Best Defensive Player.

Dnipro's 19-year-old forward Daniil Sypalo contributed 9.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game (efficiency rating: 13.7) across 35 matches. This third Superliga season was particularly significant for Sypalo, who earned his first call-up to Ukraine's national team and made his international debut in February. He was also named to the All-League Second Team while helping Dnipro secure their second consecutive championship.

Rounding out the top five is 20-year-old Vladyslav Nikolaichuk from Zaporizhzhia, who posted 8.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game (efficiency rating: 10.7) in 30 appearances. The captain of Ukraine's youth national team returned to domestic competition after playing abroad in Italy and the Netherlands following Russia's full-scale invasion. Nikolaichuk averaged over 21 minutes per game as a key frontcourt contributor for coach Valerii Plekhanov's squad.
