Dmytro Riznyk and his teammates have been officially registered by "Shakhtar Donetsk" for the upcoming Conference League group stage. The Ukrainian champions submitted a comprehensive 30-player squad for the 2025/26 campaign, which includes both senior squad members and youth players from List B.

"We've assembled a balanced squad combining experience and youth for this European campaign," – a club representative might state about the registration.

Marlon Santos, Pedro Henrique, and Pedrinho headline the defensive and midfield options, while young talents like Kiril Fesyun and Eginaldo have also made the cut. The goalkeeping department seems particularly strong with Riznyk, Fesyun, Baglai and Tvardovskyi all registered.

Interestingly, Shakhtar have included five List B players – primarily youngsters trained at the club – among their European contingent. These include promising goalkeeper Rostislav Baglai and forward Eginaldo.

The Miners face a diverse set of opponents in Europe's third-tier competition. Their group stage journey includes matches against Scotland's Aberdeen, Polish side Legia Warsaw, Iceland's Breiðablik, Ireland's Shamrock Rovers, Malta's Hamrun Spartans, and Croatia's Rijeka.

Shakhtar's European adventure begins on October 2 with an away trip to Aberdeen. Not exactly an easy start, is it? Their first home fixture comes three weeks later against Legia on October 23, with the entire group phase running until December 18.

Can the Ukrainian giants navigate this tricky group and advance to the knockout stages? Their squad depth certainly suggests they've got the tools for a decent European run.
