Maksym Bragaru has become a father for the first time. The "Dynamo" Kyiv midfielder and his wife Maria welcomed their baby boy on August 19, naming him Dmytro, as the couple shared on social media.
"We're absolutely over the moon with our little miracle. Dmytro has already become the center of our universe," the couple might have expressed in their announcement.
Interestingly, Maria isn't a stranger to the sporting world herself. The midfielder's wife holds the title of Master of Sports of Ukraine in rhythmic gymnastics, making them truly a sporting family.
Maria and Maksym tied the knot in May 2024, before the footballer's move from Odesa to Kyiv. The proposal story has a special sporting connection too. Bragaru chose the "Chornomorets" stadium as the symbolic venue to pop the question – a place clearly significant for the couple.
The timing couldn't be more interesting for the young midfielder. A new club, a new city, and now a new role as a father. Will fatherhood bring even more success to Bragaru's performance on the pitch for "Dynamo"?
