In the battle for third place, PGE Projekt Warsaw stunned last year's champions and regular season winners Jastrzebski Wegiel with an identical 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-21) scoreline on the road. German opposite Linus Weber claimed MVP honors with a match-high 17 points, including three aces, one block, and 13 attack points at 59% efficiency. Jastrzebski's Lukasz Kaczmarek was the only other player to reach double figures with 11 points.
