Prosecco DOC Imoco Conegliano has cemented their dynasty in Italian volleyball by sweeping Numia Vero Volley Milano in the Serie A1 Finals, securing their eighth Scudetto with a commanding 3-0 victory in Game 3 on April 22nd. The champions dominated the decisive match with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, and 25-21 in front of an enthusiastic crowd of 5,344 fans.

The triumph marks Conegliano's 28th overall trophy, highlighting their continued excellence under head coach Daniele Santarelli. Swedish star Isabelle Haak led the scoring charge with an impressive 22 points, while Brazilian outside hitter Gabriela Guimaraes earned MVP honors with a 16-point contribution.

Despite Milano's valiant efforts, led by Italian national team opposite Paola Egonu's 18 points, they struggled to penetrate Conegliano's disciplined defensive system. Additional contributions from Cazaute (10 points), Daalderop (8), and Orro (6) weren't sufficient to challenge the champions' momentum.

Volleyball analysts at Statbet have noted Conegliano's remarkable consistency throughout the series, having claimed Game 1 at home (3-1), Game 2 away (3-0), and completing the sweep with another straight-sets victory.

The championship adds to Conegliano's impressive collection, which now features three Club World Championships (2019, 2022, 2023), two Champions League titles (2021, 2024), eight Serie A1 championships, seven Coppa Italia trophies, and eight Italian Super Cups.

The efficiency of the champions was evident in the match duration, with the three sets completed in just 87 minutes (28, 30, and 29 minutes respectively). Defensively, Danesi and Gabi stood out with two blocks each, while Milano's serving efforts produced three aces distributed among Egonu, Kurtagic, and Orro.

With this victory, Conegliano continues to strengthen their legacy as one of European volleyball's most dominant forces heading into the 2025 season.
